All listeners of the I Know Dino podcast, which has been downloaded over 2 million times, are dinosaur enthusiasts and big fans of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.
Like many paleontologists and fellow dinosaur enthusiasts today, Garret and Sabrina grew up loving Jurassic Park. As kids, they both loved dinosaurs, and they rediscovered their love of dinosaurs as adults (via many trips to the American Museum of Natural History).
In 2014, they had a dinosaur-themed wedding, and in 2015, a few months before Jurassic World came out, they launched their weekly dinosaur podcast I Know Dino.

The timing was perfect, and they were able to discuss Jurassic World at length in their podcast.
In 2018, they were fortunate enough to be in Taiwan for the premiere of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which allowed them to see the movie before their (envious) family and friends in the U.S. They enjoyed it so much, they saw the movie three times, including once in 4D.

They were inspired to create some special content about the dinosaurs in the movie.
Of course, they covered the movie in their podcast.
And the short film, Battle at Big Rock! They’ve also had a number of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous watch parties with their listeners.
Over the last 7 years, they’ve covered all of the dinosaurs that have appeared in the in the Jurassic Park/World books, movies, short film, and TV show as part of their “dinosaur of the day” segment of the podcast. They’ve also been working to cover all of the dinosaurs that they know will be in Jurassic World: Dominion.
I Know Dino has featured a number of people who have worked on or consulted for the films, including:
Garret and Sabrina made sure to see the Jurassic World: Dominion prologue at an IMAX screening of F9, and they can’t wait to watch and talk about Jurassic World: Dominion after years of anticipation and speculating. To celebrate, they launched a “30 Days of Dinos” email campaign and they’ll be counting down to the release date on their social media channels.
