On our second day in Daejeon we headed to the KIGAM (Korea Institute of Geoscience And Mineral resources) Geological Museum. It seems like the abbreviation should be KIGMR, but oh well.
FYI, if you come here on a weekend their cafe is closed, so if you make a video (like we did) you might forget the names of some dinosuars 😛
The ones we didn’t mention: Edmontonia, and the skulls of Triceratops and Pachycephalosaurus
The display behind the Giganotosaurus is of an Allosaurus and a crocodilian eating a Stegosaurus which is in the rock at their feet.
This was by far the smallest of the museums we visited in Korea. Although it had about as many dinosaurs as the massive National Science Museum, but it was missing the unique Korean dinosaurs.
