It all began in 2015. Two newly wed dinosaur enthusiasts wanted to learn more about dinosaurs. And what better way than to start a podcast?

I Know Dino was years in the making. Both Garret and Sabrina were huge fans of dinosaurs as kids, but it took several years of dating before they realized they had that in common (thank you American Museum of Natural History for bringing them together on this front).
They started visiting dinosaur museums everywhere they traveled, and soon realized there are many amazing dinosaur sites to see. To keep track, they started their dinosaur museum map.
But it wasn’t enough. At the time, there weren’t any podcasts dedicated to dinosaurs, and so the couple decided to give it a shot.

Now:
- 300+ episodes,
- 1 million+ downloads,
- 100+ interviews with paleontologists around the world, and
- 2 Apple Podcast features later,
they still love talking about dinosaurs all day, every day.
After all, dinosaurs are a gateway to science. (And Garret and Sabrina have built a community around dinosaurs!)

About I Know Dino
I Know Dino publishes new episodes every Wednesday.
Episodes are typically 30 to 60 minutes to an hour long, and include:
- The latest dinosaur news (new dinosaurs are discovered almost weekly)
- Interviews with paleontologists, paleoartists, writers, and others who work with dinosaurs in some capacity
- The “dinosaur of the day” segment, focused on a dinosaur (usually) requested by a listener
- A fun fact (Garret likes to go down rabbit holes, or Oryctodromeus burrows, whichever you prefer).
Listeners of I Know Dino are big dinosaur enthusiasts, and are highly engaged. The I Know Dino team gets lots of news alerts, dinosaur requests, dinosaur stories, and more from their audience.

As a kid who never grew out of her dinosaur phase, I love this podcast. The hosts are very professional and the discussion is at a good level for me (casual enthusiast, skims the occasional paper, frequent museum visitor, but no formal paleontology-related education). Garret and Sabrina are interesting and play off of each other really well. I like the dinosaur of the day segment
